My Story

How It All Started

I started to make dresses when I was 14 years old to make pocket money. I then went to college to learn theater crafts, and progressed to Guildford school of acting.

Having qualified I met my Husband John and we set up a company called Coast to Coast productions, where my skills of costumes and props came to fruition. I also worked for the English national opera in the costume department.

​

I then went on to set up a dress boutique called Silks with Sarah Atkinson, which specialized in natural fabrics making all lines of garments and wedding dresses.

Later I went on to interior design, soft furnishing and also taught in theatre crafts.

​

Currently I specialize I wedding gowns, brides mades, prom dresses, alterations and all other aspects of wedding design with over 30 years of experience.
